What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4pm, and check-out is by 11am. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request (subject to availability).
Do you offer an NHS, Blue light or military discount?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a discount for this.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs at St Nicholas.
Do you have spaces to host a celebration or event?
No we do not have an event space at St Nicholas, but we can offer a space at The George Hotel over the road. Please contact the team for further information or take a look at our Occasions page.
Do you have a spa?
No, we do not have a spa.
Do you have accessible facilities?
Yes, we do have two accessible rooms at St Nicholas, with walk-in bathroom facilities, both accessible via the lift in St Nicholas.
Do you have car parking?
Yes, there is a small car park situated behind the George, however this is chargeable at £12.50 for 24 hours, spaces cannot be held or reserved and are operated on a first-come first-serve basis. There are also two Roam EV chargers located at the hotel which are charged for separately.
Do you have a restaurant or bar?
No, St Nicholas Hotel doesn’t have a bar or restaurant – all guests are welcomed to use the facilities at The George Hotel and breakfast inclusive guests will have breakfast over at The George Hotel Restaurant.
What is the relation between The George and St Nicholas Hotel?
The St Nicholas Hotel is our sister property and also part of the Surya Hotel Collection. It is just over the road from The George and less than a one minute walk.

We allow those who are 18 years or older to stay without an adult.
Do you offer room service?
No, we unfortunately can not offer room service.
Do you have air conditioning?
No, we unfortunately do not have air conditioning.

What are your restaurant service times at The George Hotel?
Our bar is open from Monday - Sunday 9:30am - 11pm
Our restaurant is open Monday - Saturday 10:30am - 9pm & Sunday 10:30am to 8:30pm
